Sometimes those things deserve attention, but first check what happens between someone arriving on your website and deciding whether to contact you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If your website is not generating enquiries, these are sensible places to start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Check whether the visitors match your offer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A visit isn\u2019t automatically a potential sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Someone might be researching a subject, looking for employment or searching for a service you don\u2019t provide. A direct explanation of the service, the customer it helps and what happens next gives them more to work with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You don\u2019t need to squeeze your entire business into one sentence. You do need to give people a clear starting point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Answer the questions that hold people back<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A visitor may be interested but unsure about something important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They might not understand what\u2019s included, how your process works, whether their project is suitable or what information you need to prepare a quotation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Read your page as a customer rather than its author.
